Movie Thoughts: Annihilation is An Nihilistic Movie That’s Brilliant

In the movie Annihilation, five scientists use M-16’s and military backpacks full of crumpled newspaper and those amazon air bubble packing things to transcend space and time, and uncover the origins of Apple’s iTunes visualizer inside a cosmic alien butthole.

Winchester follows a cookie cutter horror format that we’ve seen quite a bit over the past twenty years, but it’s a cookie cutter from Williams-Sonoma, not basic Sur Le Table or Target, and it has Bruce Spence, so it’s required viewing.
